Cable Sands – Bunbury, Western Australia
With the mines located 40 minutes south of Bunbury, and the mineral separation plant and support infrastructure just five minutes from the city centre, employees working for the company reside in many different locations, ranging from Bunbury and Busselton, to smaller towns within 30 minutes of Bunbury.
Opportunities can arise in any number of areas, from apprenticeships, operators and trades roles, through to senior technical roles. All positions are residential.
Pooncarie Project – Broken Hill, New South Wales
A new mineral separation plant has been constructed in the light industrial area of Broken Hill. The plant runs continuously, with most operators working on a five day on, five day off shift.
Pooncarie Project – Ginkgo, New South Wales
The Ginkgo Mine is located about two hours south of Broken Hill and 1½ hours north of Mildura. The closest town is Pooncarie, which is 55kms west. Consequently a camp has been built at the mine site to accommodate the workforce. The majority of the workforce stay at the camp during their rostered shifts and then drive home for their days off.
The mine commenced production in December 2005, and operates seven days per week with most aspects of the operation working on a five day on, five day off shift roster.
